Rev. Pat Dolin

Rev. Pat Dolin joined Safe Haven after experiencing the Spirit of the church through Rev. Dr. Kris Watson in a Nurturing Justice class.  Even from Colorado Springs, CO she knew this was where her spirit could be free and fed.

Rev Pat zooms into Safe Haven, thankful for the technology that allows us to find community anywhere in the world.  Pat is an ordained UCC minister, called to ministry after a career as a special education teacher for teens with emotional difficulties.

God called her into hospice chaplaincy and counseling after concentrating on pastoral care at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO.

Rev. Pat has been embraced by Safe Haven UCC and provides a safe space, called Chat With Pat, twice a month that is open to all to talk about whatever is on hearts and minds. Sometimes this is sharing our lives, sharing our griefs, sharing our hopelessness with the world or just laughing about the comedy of life.

Rev. Pat can sometimes been seen at protests, works in Colorado Springs with immigrants and is a Rapid Responder for ICE raids locally to witness and record the cruelty of raids that separate families.  She is also a member of the board of directors for Nurturing Justice.

She loves her 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and travels with them whenever possible and they all live in Colorado close to home.  Oh, she also loves her children who gave her the grandchildren.
